Nina and Ganesh

July 26, 2025 • Napa, CA

Is this a destination wedding?

Yes!

How many days is it?

There's a party Friday night and the official ceremony and reception are on Saturday. Please RSVP to both!

Should I get a wedding gift?

NO! Your presence is more than enough. We just ask you to hydrate and be ready to celebrate late into the evening on Saturday. If you really want to celebrate with a gift please consider a donation to either of our mother's temples: Vivekananda Vedanta Center of Connecticut (Nina's mother) https://www.vedantavvcc.org/Donate Sringeri Vidya Bharati Foundation South (Ganesh's mother) https://svbfsouth.org/sponsorship/

What is the dress code for the wedding?

Black tie optional... but in CA that means a wide variety of choices. The wedding ceremony is Hindu and outdoors in the late afternoon so it might be warm. The reception is also outdoors and in the evening and it can get pleasantly cool. If it helps at all, Nina is wearing Indian for both the ceremony and reception, Ganesh is wearing Indian for the ceremony and a tux for the reception For anyone intersted in Indian clothes you can order something from a variety of sites: panashindia.com https://www.lashkaraa.com/ and a bunch of others, (even Amazon!)

What is the dress code for Friday night

Casual, American style. Sundress for women and not-scrubby for men

How should I get to the Cali-Texican Sangeet?

Uber is advised. The parking at Taqueria Maria is limited.

How should I get to and from Carneros if I'm not staying there?

Uber is advised for the afternoon arrival (~4 pm). There will be a return shuttle service from Carneros to The Hampton Inn starting at 9 pm. From The Hampton Inn you can take Uber to any location, in case you are staying elsewhere.
