Our Love Story

Nique and I met on Facebook Dating and let me tell you… she almost missed her blessing because she wanted to swipe left! Luckily for her, and me, she didn’t and we had our first date on June 28, 2020 at Antonios in Canton, MI. That first date turned into a 6 hour session of laughing and talking with a mini 90’s R&B jam session.We clicked that day and in my opinion we were official since then.

I remember telling her I hadn’t been to Chicago as an adult and if you know her, you know she was more than happy to show me where she came from. So, we rolled “home” and met some of her family. When we were leaving she had the nerve to say “If you come back you’ll meet the rest of the family”... YEAH AIGHT

Shortly after, we decided to make it official on September 24, 2020. And guess where at? … That’s right none other than Antonio’s. Since that day, there hasn’t been a day we haven’t talked or a week we weren’t in each other’s presence.

Obviously, there was another step I had to take. I knew I wanted to make her my wife but you know I had to do it in the place she told me “If I came back” right. So on September 24, 2022 in Chicago, I had the pleasure of asking Nique to be my wife on the second anniversary of us “going together”. LOL

Throughout our relationship she has been a beacon of light and my very best friend.

We laugh together…

We share together…

We honor each other…

And most importantly we LOVE each other…

She’s taught me so much and vice versa. I consider myself a blessed man to be marrying such an amazing woman whom I love dearly. I’ve truly found a woman who is good for my soul.

She looks good to me… and she’s good for me.
