The journey began on February 6, 2019 with a right swipe on a dating app. Yes, insert eye roll. So 2021, Right? Regardless, the love story is timeless. After engaging in conversation for a couple of days on the app, Nirav built up the courage to ask Trish for her number. From that day forward they communicated daily, building a bond that is inexplainable. The connection was growing fast even without a physical meeting and with the distance and their busy schedules, their first official date would have to wait until April 10, 2019. Their first date was at Another Broken Egg in Shreveport, Louisiana. Neither of them ate much and if you know them, you know this is as out of the ordinary as it gets for them. But as the nerves were in full effect and the conversation was so liberating the time flew by. Eventually after hours of conversation, Nirav began his journey back to Dallas all while pondering how he was going to ask Trish to be his girlfriend.

After their first date, they both new that this was something special. Nirav asked Trish to officially be his girlfriend that night. They continued their long-distance relationship all while learning each other and growing together. They had to go months without seeing one another, but the bond was still building, growing stronger and stronger.

Fast forward some time and Trish moved to Dallas. Trish and Nirav shared many fun dates, spent time getting to know each other in person and created endless memories. It is now November 16, 2019. The date of the most romantic (surprise) proposal in history. It was in the view of a gorgeous skyline surrounded by loved ones. Shortly after getting engaged the world was hit with a global pandemic causing wedding plans to be postponed and then changed. They knew they wanted to get married and they weren’t going to let a pandemic stop their nuptials. On July 10, 2020 they said “I DO” at an intimate ceremony in the home of Nirav’s parents. Entering 2021 has started the recovery from the pandemic and has allowed the couple to finally plan a celebration of their marriage. They are beyond excited to celebrate their union with close friends and family on September 25, 2021!
