Our Story

Morgan and Noah first crossed paths in college. He was on the football team, and she was on the sidelines with the dance team. They had noticed each other around campus, at games, and even briefly exchanged words at a loud house party (for all of five minutes, surrounded by chaos and too many people to count). But it wasn’t until March 13, 2020, right as the world began to shut down, that their story truly began. Amidst the uncertainty of the COVID-19 pandemic, a simple Snapchat turned into something much more. Over the next few months, they stayed up talking until 5 a.m. almost every night, with hours-long FaceTime calls and conversations that somehow never ran out of things to say. That summer, Morgan invited Noah to her family’s cabin in Kalkaska, Michigan for the 4th of July. Without hesitation, Noah made the seven-hour drive from central Illinois. The last leg of his trip? A never-ending, sandy two-track road that had him wondering if Morgan was actually sending him deep into the woods to kill him (she wasn't, but they still laugh about it). On the night of July 8th, under the northern Michigan sky, he asked her to be his girlfriend. And from that moment on, their forever began. These days, Morgan and Noah call Grand Rapids, Michigan home. They spend their time exploring hidden fishing ponds, wandering new trails, and discovering little corners of the city together. They’re also big fans of music festivals and concerts, helping Noah get his fill of the heavy-hitting bass he will absolutely never let go of (iykyk). And, of course, if you know them at all, you know the real star of the show is Kiwi. Their sassy, spoiled, travel-ready cat with her own Instagram fan base. She’s part sidekick, part child, and 100% proof that Morgan and Noah are unapologetically crazy cat parents. If they’re not out on an adventure (or front row at a show), you can probably guess where they are: hanging out with Kiwi.
