Wedding Day

Our Wedding Ceremony will take place at 2:30 PM at St. Matthew's Lutheran Church in Oconomowoc, WI.   Cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing will be enjoyed at the Oconomowoc Lake Club beginning at 4:30 PM.

Noah and I met as Freshmen at Wisconsin Lutheran High School and ran in the same circle of friends since day one. We began seeing each other as more than friends in Junior year of high school after spending many study hall hours getting to know each other better. After months of dropping hints that I was interested in dating him, I took matters into my own hands and worked up the nerve to ask Noah to the winter dance. At that dance, Noah finally asked me to be his girlfriend during a slow song. Throughout the rest of high school, we dated as teenagers do: seeing movies, going to the beach, stealing moments together after sports practice, and redeeming free scoops at Culver’s. We knew we would get married someday after a few short months of dating. I’m sure people thought we were crazy at 17, but look at us now! After high school, Noah went to the University of Alabama, and I went to the University of Minnesota to pursue our degrees at the schools that best suited our individual interests. Never once did we consider not continuing to date despite the distance. In college Noah and I found who we are as individuals, which makes us a stronger together today. We enjoyed our time pursuing our passions, but always looked forward to the next FaceTime call or break from school when we could see each other again. Post college, Noah and I both moved back to Wisconsin knowing we never wanted to be that far from each other again. We dated as working adults for about two years after college and began laying the groundwork for a life together in our hometown. In September of 2024, Noah got down on a knee and asked me to marry him under the stars at the Hurleys’ lake house. At last we will be husband and wife as well as high school sweethearts and best friends.
