Our Wedding

We first met at a wedding. Well… we really didn’t “meet” at the wedding but thats where we first saw each other in person. My brother and his wife (it was their wedding) were telling me all about Sarah beforehand and were very clearly trying to play match maker. I was the photographer at the wedding so I was pretty busy, and honestly, too scared to talk to Sarah. I’m not gonna lie… I completely forgot about Sarah for about 2 months after our “non-meeting” at my brothers wedding. Rather randomly one day I was thinking about my missed opportunity and requested that Robbies new wife, Samantha, share Sarah’s phone number with me. On October 5, 7:14pm “Hey there! It’s Noah :)” was the first text and well — the rest is history.

Noah’s Perspective

So to be honest, the way Noah and I remember things are quite different, because from my side, Samantha and Robbie’s wedding was a blur. I remember talking to people, and I remember saying hello to Samantha, and then there was a photographer. Thats it. Unlike Noah, Samantha and Robbie did not talk to me or try to set me up with anyone before the wedding, in fact I did not even know Robbie’s brother WAS the photographer, that went over my head. So when Samantha told me about her brother in law being my age I was confused, and then she said he was the photographer, and I did not see how they could be brothers in my mind. At the time, I was not really thinking I was ready for a relationship, but after agreeing to trade numbers… then chatting for hours… and meeting in person for the first time, I knew it was not going to stop at friendship. And here we are.

Kyler and Noah have been the closest friends for over 7 years. Noah was the best man in Kyler’s wedding in May 2023; Now… the tables have turned.

We are otherwise recommending groups to work together and reserve airbnb houses to share the cost at a more reasonable rate. Look for ones between Rochester and Ontario NY.
