Meet Our Wedding Party!
Abigail Mims - Maid of Honor
I first met Erin in the 4th grade on the playground at Jerger, but it was not until 6th grade that our friendship really began to grow. We ended up having 6 out of 7 classes together that year, and our lockers were side by side—hers on top, mine on the bottom. It felt like fate. From that moment on, we just knew we were meant to be friends. And over the past 14 years, we've grown closer in ways I never could have imagined. Erin has become more than just a friend—she is my confidant, one of my biggest supporters, and my sister by choice. Erin is the kind of person you don’t realize you are missing until she enters your life. Like a missing piece to a puzzle. She is the most genuine, caring, and loving person I have ever had the pleasure to know. I am beyond blessed and honored not only to be someone she chose to stand by her side, but to be one of her maid of honors on one of the most important days of her life. I cannot wait to celebrate both Noah and Erin with everybody!
Matthew Sizemore - Man At Arms
I have known Noah for many years, but the time when we became good friends would be when we became roommates in 2019 and 2020. We spent many days and nights gaming, watching Star Wars, having theological discussions, and trying on gas masks. Noah has always been a great friend, accountability partner, and a supporter of my good and bad decisions. I have seen him grow in many ways, but nothing has made him happier (other than God) than being with Erin. He and Erin are also the unofficial aunt and uncle to my two sons and they have blessed them beyond what I could ever hope and ask for. I am humbled by this honor of being the Man at Arms for him, to be the supporter for him on this great occasion. Noah and Erin, I’m excited and can’t for this time to celebrate you both.
Sophie Barnes - Maid of Honor
Erin and I first met each other in the 4th grade at Jerger. We didn’t become close friends until 8th grade at Scholars. By this time, we had both grown out of the Bermuda short phase. I was not fortunate enough to have that many classes with her but when we did, we may or may not have gotten into a little bit of trouble from us giggling randomly or me braiding her hair. And when Abi was in class with us, we may or may not have stolen food out of her lunchbox. I was lucky enough to have Odyssey of the Mind with her and Abi starting in 10th grade where we had the most fun and had lunch together until our senior year. Erin has been such a blessing to me and I thank the lord for her friendship. She’s more than a best friend and for anyone to know her and be friends with her, should be blessed as well. I have loved seeing Erin grow and become the woman she is today. I feel honored to be standing by her side on her big day. I’m so excited for her and Noah and to watch this next chapter of their life unfold!
Brandon Brown - Best Man
I’ve known Noah since high school. We met through cross country and youth group at church. We stayed close throughout college mainly due to our families celebrating Thanksgiving and Christmas together. Noah and I are competitive when it comes to a lot of things. We compete in the gym when to see who will lift the most weight. He normally wins. We compete in video games to see who will have the better game. He normally wins. I guess you could say he wins some and I almost win some.
When Noah and Erin started dating I could tell right away they were meant for one another. Their senses of humor, the way they operate throughout their day to day routines, and their relationship with Christ meshes so incredibly well. I am so excited to be able to stand next to my brother as he starts this incredible journey with Erin.
Helen Whitacre - Bridesmaid
I first met Erin on May 4th at my college graduation party, and from that day on, I knew she was someone special (especially because she went along with my weird childhood crushes and my passionate opinions of Gilmore Girls). We really got to know each other when she and my family visited me while I was living in Charleston, and we’ve been growing closer ever since. Some of my favorite memories with Erin happened during Hurricane Helene—when we had kitchen jam sessions while cooking up random hurricane meals (and discovered we had nearly identical music taste!)—and every time she indulged my slightly obsessive love of card games. She’s always down for a game night, a cooking adventure, or a spontaneous road trip. Erin is the best travel buddy, packer/mover, co-chef, taste tester, card player, music soulmate, supporter, and soon-to-be sister. As the only granddaughter on both sides of my family, I always dreamed of having a sister—and my parents and brother can definitely attest to this. Erin is truly the sister I always hoped for, and I couldn’t have handpicked a better one myself. I’m so honored to stand by her side as she marries my favorite person and officially becomes family (even though she already feels like it). 💛
Justin Brown - Groomsman
Noah and I met while running at an Augusta Eagles Cross Country practice in 10th grade. Our friendship grew through hanging out at church events and playing in other sports. Noah was one of my closest friends through high school and someone I can always rely on. We remain close friends post college and to this day!
Emily DeJong - Bridesmaid
I first met Erin during our freshman year of college when we were neighbors in the dorms. We tried to be roommates our freshman year through the housing portal but ended up getting paired with other people. Little did I know, the plans God had! During our freshman year, we began attending Warren together and have been a part of the church ever since. As I got to know Erin throughout our freshman and sophomore years, I would have never imagined we would be as close as we are now. Fast forward two years later we became roommates and best friends. From going to church together, doing CrossFit together, writing our thesis, and many walks and dinner dates, she became the person I lived life with and truly a sweet friend. From the many laughs and random experiences we had together, she became a sister and someone I knew would be a friend forever. Erin is someone who is genuinely caring, loving, and a friend you can always count on. She is talented, disciplined, and driven while yet being present for others and loving others so well. It is so amazing to see all that the Lord has done in her life. We had many conversations dreaming about the kind of man she hoped and prayed for, and now she is about to marry Noah—an answered prayer. It is obvious the Lord has sent Noah into Erin’s life to be her person. I am so excited for their marriage and looking forward to celebrating them on their special day!!
Tim Ferguson - Groomsman
I first met Noah when the Whitacre’s moved overseas to Stuttgart, Germany in 2010. Our family hosted them at our home just after they got off the plane after being connected through our parent’s mutual friends. It didn’t take long for our two families to become one big family, and Noah and I spent half of our teenage years growing up together and sharing countless memories, from homeschool co-op shenanigans and late night gaming sessions to our framily holiday parties. As the middle child between two sisters, Noah is truly the closest thing I had to a brother growing up and has continued to be a steadfast and caring presence in my life. We were lucky enough to end up only a couple hours away when both of our families moved back to the US, and it has been a pleasure to continue to be apart of his life and watch him grow both on his own and now together with Erin. I am beyond stoked for the wedding and for everything the Lord has in store for you both!
Cree Layne Harrison - Bridesmaid
It was our first day of PT school ! As you could imagine , the room was filled with some nerves, some curiosity, and some openness towards this new experience . When I met Erin , all I felt was a mirrored sense of calm and confidence which carried us through our first year of school together. We laughed (way too much lol ) , we cried, we rejoiced and all of those experiences built an inseparable bond between us . Erin is very much so my right hand girl . She is an amazing friend , sister , and confidant. She is always there, always present, and never judges. Although life has changed the course of our path as a unit, I’ve never felt more aligned and in sync with someone which proves that our friendship is for sure LIMITLESS. The yip to my yap , I love you so much and I am truly honored to stand beside you on your special day and celebrate your love . It came with a lot of prayer and was built gently between two hearts meant to become one . You and Noah are admirable and I pray your love stands the test of time ♥️
Wyatt Fitch - Groomsman
I first talked to Noah at cross country practice in highschool. At that point we could run at the same pace, and were able to bond over our mutual love for videogames. Noah soon outgrew me in the world of running, but we continued playing games online together and building our friendship. Since then, Noah has been one of my most trusted friends and closest confidants. I was thankful to share memories through college, and I’ve enjoyed seeing him grow in his passions, career, and in Christ. I’m so excited to celebrate his and Erin’s relationship and to see him step into a new season of life.
Kayleigh Brown - Bridesmaid
I met Erin because the Whitacres are family friends with the Browns! From our very first yap session, I'd hoped that we'd continue to grow closer. And, a year later, our friendship—built on Tuesday dinners, road trips, walks around AU, deep chats over coffee, and way too many voice memos—has become one of the most meaningful parts of my life here in Augusta. One unforgettable memory: Erin stayed with us the day after Hurricane Helene hit, and her, Brandon and I drove around for hours looking for a place open to eat. Another fun fact is that Erin and I met back in February 2022 at a wedding before I lived here (says Brandon), but neither of us remember that! Erin feels like the sister I didn’t know I needed, and I couldn’t be more excited to stand beside her as she starts this beautiful new chapter with Noah.
Bryson Anna - Groomsman
My name is Bryson Anna and I'm honored to stand by Noah as one of his groomsmen. I've lived in Augusta for the last 14 years, and over a third of that time has been spent playing merry-go-house with Noah. We first met while running cross country in high school and that quickly turned into impromptu road trips, spending long hours studying without getting anything done, serving coffee at church, and bonding through everything we did. We’ve been there for each other through the very best and worst of times, and Noah has proven to be one of the most steadfast and understanding people I’ve ever met. By growing his relationship with God he has truly become a man that anyone would look up to, and is certainly someone I aspire to. I know that God has wonderful things prepared for him and Erin, and I look forward to see what’s in store for them in this new chapter.
Courtney Sizemore - Bridesmaid
I met Erin through Noah, who is a close friend of my husband, Matt—and from the moment we connected, I prayed our friendship would continue. Since then, Erin has truly become like a sister to me and the most loving "Aunt Erin" to my two boys. She’s not just a friend; she’s family. Our friendship really blossomed over Tuesday night dinners (and let’s be honest, girls’ nights were the icing on the cake). During a tough pregnancy, Erin was constantly checking in, asking how she could help, and showing up in the most thoughtful ways—like doing my dishes without hesitation. One of the most special memories I hold close is watching her become Aunt Erin, loving our boys as if they were her own. She’s an incredible aunt, and we are so blessed to have her in our lives.
I’m beyond honored to stand by her side as she marries her best friend, Noah. I can’t wait for our friendship to grow even more with many more family dinners, $2 taco Tuesdays, and Target strolls searching for cute stuffed dinosaurs. We love you, Aunt Erin!
Will Wren - Groomsman
Hey, I’m Will Wren. Husband, Father, and now Groomsman. I work as a Paid Media Specialist (that’s marketing) and love working out, going on adventures with my girls, listening to records, and copious amounts of caffeine.
Noah and I are trauma bonded through the crucible that was painting the Warren parking lot by hand one summer during college. We became fast friends and quite a dynamic complementary duo. I can’t wait to help Noah and Erin tie the knot!
