Our Wedding

They were introduced by a mutual friend of theirs (shout out Noah Thrush) in September of 2020 while both attending Messiah University. Noah asked Emily to go hammocking along the Yellow Breeches and do homework together after class. Emily couldn’t deny the offer even though she didn’t have a hammock. Emily sat in Noah’s hammock (which was actually his roommates because he didn’t have one either) and Noah kindly sat on the ground. After talking and getting to know each other for nearly 3 hours, they decided to hangout again later that week.

How They Met

Noah and Emily went on their official first date while walking around the city of Harrisburg. They continued to get to know each other by hanging out and texting … A LOT. On November 11, 2020 Noah called Emily and insisted on meeting up because he had an important question to ask her. He asked her to be his girlfriend, and of course, she said yes.

After 2 years of dating and growing in their relationship, Noah proposed to Emily on November 5th 2022. He planned a photo shoot for their 2 year anniversary. While posing for a picture Noah knelt down and asked Emily to spend the rest of her life with him.

The beginning of Forever 

Noah and Emily's relationship has continued to grow over their 3.5 years of dating. They enjoy hiking together, watching sports, playing pickleball, and hanging out with their friends and family. They are grateful for how God has blessed their relationship so far, and they can't wait to see what God has in store for them in the many years to come.

Our Story

Emily is 22 years old and has recently graduated from PA College of Health Sciences with her Bachelors in Nursing. She plans to work as a nurse at Lancaster General Hospital.  She looks forward to traveling, adventuring, and building a family with Noah in the years to come.

Noah, 23 years old, graduated from Messiah University in 2023. He spent the past 2 summers working as the Bat Boy for the Baltimore Orioles. Noah enjoys watching sports and hanging out with friends. He loves Emily very much and can't wait to spend the rest of his life with her.

Vanessa is the sister of Emily. She is older than her by 3 years. Vanessa got married last August! They have grown up being close their whole lives, but became more like best friends while going through high school together.  Vanessa is adventurous, caring, and someone Emily looks up to!

Vanessa Zeiders

Joshua, more affectionately known as “Jrob”, has been Noah’s best friend since they were 3 years old. They grew up doing everything together from playing with lightsabers in the back yard, video games during countless sleepovers, to Ravens games, and yearly trips to watch NFL games. Joshua and Noah continue to share life’s biggest moments with each other and this will be no different.

Rachel and Emily have been best friends since they were babies. They have gone to church together their whole lives. Emily and Rachel have been through all the ups and downs of life.  Rachel is a sweet and supportive friend. Emily is blessed to have Rachel by her side on her special day!

Josh and Noah have been friends since 7th grade where they met at youth group. Even back then, Josh’s quick-witted humor caught the attention of Noah. Since then, they have navigated high school and even went to college together at Messiah University where they lived in close quarters for 4 years.  Noah and Josh often use their humor and quick-wits to pull pranks on their friends for personal enjoyment.

Joshua Harding 

Katy is Emily’s country-loving, caring best friend. They became close in 8th grade and have stayed close ever since. Emily enjoys hanging out with Katy and reminiscing on old times together. Katy is filled with love and kindness; and has always been someone Emily can have a great time with!

Zach and Noah met through doing a fantasy football league together, but didn’t really hit it off until going to a sleepover together that included going to an Orioles game on Nate McClouth base bandit t-shirt night and seats in the all-you-can-eat section. That night sparked a lifelong friendship between Noah and Zach. Noah views Zach as the older brother he never had and was honored with the opportunity to be a groomsman in Zach’s wedding in 2021.

Danie is Emily’s second cousin on her father’s side. Danie and Emily are only one month apart and they live less than 2 miles apart. They have grown up their whole lives hanging out and having sleepovers. Danie and Emily can sit and talk for hours on end and enjoy having each other at family events. Emily is so blessed to have a cousin and friend in one!

Christian, aka “Piss”, and Noah have been friends since junior year of high school. Piss is never afraid to tell you what’s on his mind and Noah finds his bluntness funny. Noah also enjoys pushing Christian’s buttons and displaying why he gets his nickname. They have spent the past 5 years going to school together and Noah had the pleasure of being a groomsman in Christian's wedding this past spring.

Jocelyn and Emily met when Jocelyn moved into the house across the street from her church. They instantly clicked and have been friends ever since! They have spent endless hours talking and dreaming about their wedding days together. Jocelyn has been one of Emily's biggest supporters in life since they met!

Matt and Noah became friends junior year of high school and have been great friends ever since. Matt's charismatic personality is loved by many, including Noah.

Emma is the sister of Noah. She is younger than him by 3 years. Her and Emily enjoy hanging out together and talking about nursing. They also love teaming up and picking on Noah ;) Emily is so excited to have such a fun, loving sister-in-law!

Noah was originally asked by the groom to be roommates going into freshman year at Messiah. Instead of saying yes or no, Noah decided to leave him on read and unfollow him on Instagram. This made it extremely awkward when the two Noahs lived across the hall from each other. The beef was soon squashed and Noah was given the nickname “Rush” by the groom. Rush and Noah became great friends over their four years at Messiah and he played a big part in introducing Noah to his family friend Emily. And well the rest is history

Sydney is a younger cousin of Emily. She is 3 years old. Sydney, although very cute, enjoys picking on people... specifically her twin brother.

Logan, the twin brother of Sydney, is shy, cute, and has a contagious laugh. Sydney and Logan are a special gift to their family.

Nolan, the older brother of Sydney and Logan, is Emily's first cousin on her mother's side. He is 6 years old and is a professional at the ring bearer "gig" because of how cute and respectful he is.

Guests are welcome to pitch a tent and spend the night for free on the property. We just ask that those choosing to do so would arrive early to the ceremony to give themselves time to set it up and be seated by 2:45 p.m. Please let Emily know if you are choosing to camp.

There are many Airbnb or Vrbo houses in the area. Feel free to find and book them on your own or with other guests that are invited!

There is limited parking at the ceremony. Please plan to park at the nearby elementary school. Transportation from the school to the ceremony will be provided. If you have multiple people in the same vehicle, please drop off additional guests at the ceremony before parking at the school. We ask you to be parked at the school no later than 2:30 p.m. so we can ensure everyone makes it to the ceremony on time. We will provide transportation back to your car following the ceremony. There is room for everyone to park at the reception.
