Noel and Nicole met on a balcony in summer air, on August 20th, 2016.

She had a pink sparkly drinking vessel, and he had the nerve to accept a drink from a total stranger.

Since then, they were just friends making optometry school memories together - enduring hard classes, long lab hours, demented authority figures abusing students with power, and of course some fun parties too.

One day, with the help of their dear friend and wedding officiant, Brenna Gerchman, Noel decided he wanted to be a little more than just friends with Nicole.

After some fun date nights and exploring Downtown Chicago together in the summer of 2019, they decided to make their dating official on the twenty first night of September.

In 2020, they moved to Madison, Wisconsin, started their first jobs as optometrists, and have been living their best life ever since.

On November 11th, 2022, they got engaged in Dallas at the Gaylord Texan.
