It all started at Lawrence Free State High School back in about 2010...
Noelle swears that they shared a class together their sophomore year, but Brady believes he just popped into her math class because his friends were in it. Anyway, whatever the truth may be, there was one particular day where Brady made a joke that got his whole group laughing, and after seeing Noelle trying to focus on her schoolwork (or more accurately, her beloved flip phone), Brady said something along the lines of, "See? She gets it!"
Noelle did not get it.
But alas! Noelle was intrigued. Brady was cute, he was funny, and the teeny tiny flutter of a crush was born.
Fast forward to Junior year, and Noelle and Brady were both in choir together and slowly becoming friends. Phone numbers were exchanged and they soon went on their first date.
It was Chipotle.
Hey. It was high school, we didn't have a lot of money, okay?
And in our house, we don't turn our nose up at some Chipotle.
Now, I say it was high school, so not surprisingly their romance didn't make it past a few dates. (Ask Noelle about the infamous "Bug Spray Story"! Brady will love it!)
But they decided to give it 10 years and then they'd be back to try it again. (This is false. Not once did they tell each other that they'd "give it 10 years." But that would make a pretty interesting story if they had!)
It's the year 2021. Noelle is single. Brady is single. On this particular night Noelle decides to blow the dust off of her ole snapchat app and see if anybody is doing anything interesting.
A snapchat story catches her eye.
It's Brady watering his new lawn and making a joke about how he "must be an old man since all he does is yard-work".
Noelle thinks its kind of funny. Should she say something to him?
And so Noelle slides into Brady's DMS.
As they all say:
And the rest is history.
