There are so many great places to stay in Lake Tahoe! Instead of reserving a hotel block we wanted our guests to be able to choose where they want to stay depending on the type of experience they would like to obtain. We recommend staying near South Lake Tahoe or Stateline. Here are a few lodging recommendations:

Reno-Tahoe International Airport
The Reno-Tahoe airport is a little closer and offers a more direct route to Lake Tahoe than the Sacramento airport. It is 58 miles (1 hour and 15 minutes) to South Lake Tahoe. Book at shuttle with Lake Tahoe Airporter; one way tickets are $32.75. You can also rent a car at the airport.
Sacramento International Airport
Sacramento airport is farther from South Lake Tahoe (117 miles, 2 hours and 15 minutes) than the Reno airport, but it offers a nice drive through the Eldorado National Forest. You can rent a car at the airport.
South Tahoe Airporter
Book one-way or round trip tickets online. One way adult tickets are $32.75 and round trip tickets are$59.00. The shuttle drops off and picks up at several hotels and casinos in South Lake Tahoe
