Eddy and I met while "fishing" 11 years ; ago (POF). After nibbling his bate, he set the hook and lied his way into my heart. Eddy told me he loved hiking, lifted weights, and played sports, which were all important to me as I am a very active person. To my surprise, these were things "he used to do" but by then it was too late...I was already hooked. We are complete opposites in personalities, which is why we have been able to make it work all these years. Aside from our 4 dogs, our blended family is what's most important to us...LOL! (shhh...don't tell the kids).

Ione is located in the fertile Ione Valley, which is believed to be named by Thomas Brown around 1849 after one of the heroines in Edward Bulwer Lytton's Drama&nbsp;"The Last Days of Pompeii". During the days of the Gold Rush, the miners knew the town by the names of "Bedbug", and "Freezeout".
