Welcome to Dunedin, Florida. Just 30 minutes west of Tampa, Dunedin (pronounced &#8220;Done-Eden&#8221;) charms with its small-town feel, vibrant downtown, and scenic coastal location. It&#8217;s walkable, full of personality, and the perfect spot to enjoy a wedding weekend. Fun fact: Dunedin comes from the Gaelic word for Edinburgh, and this town celebrates its Scottish heritage with themed festivals and nods to Celtic culture throughout the year.
 
We&#8217;re excited to celebrate with you and, since many of you are traveling to be here, we wanted to share a few things happening around town while you&#8217;re in Dunedin.
 
Friday, February 6
Settle in, explore downtown, and then head to Rosie&#8217;s Tavern for live music with our favorite local artist, Alan Pelno. The show starts at 7:00 PM, so plan to arrive around 6:15 PM for a good spot on their outside patio. Always a great show and a fun way to kick off the weekend!
 
Saturday, February 7
Start your morning at the Downtown Market&#8212;browse fresh produce, handmade goods, and local treats. Or, join a culinary walking tour through downtown Dunedin to sample the flavors that make this town so special.

Our Town

One of the best parts about staying in Dunedin is that you really don’t need a car once you’re here. The town is walkable, the Pinellas Trail runs right through downtown, and there are plenty of fun, easy ways to get around without worrying about parking. Whether you’re looking for a free ride, a festive shuttle, or your own wheels for exploring, here are some great options: 1. Freebee Dunedin Loop (Electric Shuttle)This is a free, eco-friendly electric shuttle that picks you up and drops you off anywhere in the downtown loop. Local Tiki Rides (Festive Tiki Shuttle)Local Tiki Rides is a door-to-door shuttle service run by a fun local couple. Rides are free but tips are appreciated! Think colorful tiki open-air bus, good vibes, and sometimes even karaoke. Bike &amp; E-Bike RentalsDunedin is a biker’s paradise, especially with the scenic Pinellas Trail. Holiday Inn Express & Suites

The Beso Del Sol Waterfront Resort offers well-appointed studio, one-, and two-bedroom suites with scenic waterfront views. While not centrally located, this hotel is within minutes of the wedding venue and downtown Dunedin. The resort features its own bar and restaurant for the convenience of guests. Please note that room blocks are not available; accommodations are available on a first-come, first-served basis, and reservations should be made directly with the resort.

Beso Del Sol Resort

The Best Western Plus Yacht Harbor Inn &amp; Suites offers comfortable and conveniently located accommodations along the waterfront, providing easy access to Dunedin’s charming marina and downtown district. Amenities include a complimentary hot breakfast, an outdoor heated pool and spa, and a private tiki bar. Guest rooms are spacious, with many offering scenic views of the intracoastal waterway.
