La Sirena, the venue where the wedding will take place, may have some availability although most will be reserved for the wedding party. As of 2/25/24, Airbnb shows 54 places available to book around Zirahuen lake which include small cabins to family size cabins. There are some unlisted cabins which are only advertised locally, we will try to get a list of those together on our next trip to Michoacán in July. Another option is to stay in Patzcuaro, which is 30 minutes away from the venue, offers more options in hotels, Airbnb’s, and sightseeing activities. As of 2/25/24 Airbnb shows there were 318 places to stay in that town. Morelia, the state’s capital, is about an hour and15 minutes away, has plenty more options in hotels and as of 2/25/24 Airbnb shows 579 places to say. Zirahuen Forest and Resort also has cabins, villas, and some rooms as well but they may a pricier option.
