Our story begins on a warm, late summer night. We met through a couple of mutual friends. When I first saw Numtan, I thought “wow, she is the most beautiful girl I have ever seen”. I quickly introduced myself. I challenged her to a friendly game of pool. She said she did not know how to play but I insisted that I would teach her. Ironically, she beat me in a few turns and ended up teaching me a lesson or two. After, we enjoyed the rest of the night talking amongst ourselves and with our friends. Before the night ended and going our separate ways, she blew me a kiss while walking away. She claims she was being silly at the time but I saw it as a sign.

Over the next few weeks, after asking her to hang out, we spent time getting to know each other. We had our first date on Oct. 11, 2018. We enjoyed a nice dinner followed by a trip to the movie theater.

Since then, we have shared a love of traveled together and board game nights. We support each other in our everyday lives and strive to grow as a couple.

On Feb. 3, 2024 our last snowboarding trip, I proposed to Numtan and asked her to spend the rest of her life with me.
