Andrew and Brooke first met during cross country at Parkway Central high school. Just friends at the time, they each spent many hours devoting their time to running and Andrew even paced Brooke's PR mile!

On one of their first dates together, Andrew and Brooke danced the night away at Brooke's sorority Black Diamond Formal. The butterflies were real.

On May 11th, Andrew worked up the courage to walk across campus from Mark Twain to the Pi Palace with a bouquet of flowers in hand to ask Brooke to officially be his girlfriend. Carly, one of her bridesmaid, and Brooke couldn't help but look outside the window when they saw Andrew outside of ADPi. Brooke of course said yes and they've been together ever since!

The pair celebrated their 6 month anniversary with a special night at Cotton, Andrew's home at the time in Columbia. The night began with Kevin popping out of the trunk in a tux and inviting Brooke into the house where they were served a three course meal by all of Andrew's closest friends. It truly was the most special night!

One of Andrew and Brooke's favorite things was playing intramural basketball at the Mizzou rec. They bonded over their love for basketball and made many great memories. Brooke learned patience when Andrew was the coach for one game and subbed her out because "she was not playing very well." They formally apologize to anyone who witnessed the player/coach conversation that followed.

Andrew and Brooke celebrated their 1 year anniversary! Andrew took her to a beautiful dinner at CC's City Broiler steakhouse in Columbia!

One of Andrew and Brooke's shared passions is service. Brooke was able to join the Ahrens family on their annual trip to Reynosa, Mexico in 2023 to help build a home in the colonia while making relationships with the children in the community.

The two continued their love of service by traveling to Harmons, Jamaica with their campus ministry Veritas!

This past spring/summer, Andrew and Brooke celebrated 2 years with each other and attended many weddings of their good friends!

The day they got engaged! Andrew, alongside Brooke's best friend Claire and her fiancé Drew, set up the absolute dreamiest proposal. He started the evening by taking Brooke to dinner at the Surfing Deer and followed by walking her to the beach while reciting Ephesians 5:21-33, which also is engraved in Brooke's engagement ring! It was an amazing night!
