To Our Beloved Guests,

Here is a quick rundown of the itinerary for our wedding week. We highly recommend leaving the US on Monday July 29th and staying until Monday August 5th. That being said, we understand people have time constraints and either have to return to the US or wish to travel beyond in Europe. Let us know over the next 6 months which days you will be joining us so we can plan accordingly.

Tuesday- Flights leaving the US on Monday arrive in Portugal on Tuesday due to being 5 hours ahead of EST. It is approximately a 1 1/2 hour drive from your arrival city of Porto to our wedding week destination of Montalegre. After checking into your accommodations, in and around the village, and relaxing for a few hours we have a fun night out planned in the city of Vigo, Spain for our Jack and Jill party. We will have a coach bus driving us there and the time and location for departure will be given to all who wish to join us. It will be a late night so get plenty of rest on your flight over the Atlantic.

Wednesday- We have nothing scheduled during the day so feel free to get familiar with the area, walk around the village, visit the castle or take a 10-minute car ride into Spain. At a place and time TBD we will be having our rehearsal dinner and all out of town guests are welcome. Please let us know in the months to come if you will be attending.

Thursday- The Big Day!! The wedding ceremony will be held at an 800 year old church at the top of the village, next to the castle, at 12pm. After taking pictures there will be coach buses waiting to bring us all to our reception at 1:30pm. After arriving at Quinta Da Pacheca around 3pm, guests who reserve rooms in the hotel for the night can check-in and all guests can enjoy the beauty of the winery. Cocktail hour will start at 4 pm and the reception will commence at 6pm. For all guests not staying there will be a coach bus leaving after the cake cutting around midnight. The rest of us will party the night away as the reception ends at 4am.

Friday- Sunday-For those who stayed the night there will be a brunch at the winery and buses will return us to Montalegre around 2pm. Friday night is the kickoff of festival month in Montalegre and those that decide to stay in town post wedding can join us for a weekend of parties, nightly concerts, bull fights, fireworks and so much more.

Monday- We will be saying goodbye to our remaining family and friends and leaving on our honeymoon as we are traveling across Europe for a few weeks. We look forward to celebrating our wedding with all of you and creating an experience you'll never forget!
