Our wedding will be held outdoors in June, and as anyone from the Pacific Northwest knows — the weather can be a little unpredictable! It could be sunny and warm, or cool with a chance of rain, so we recommend dressing in comfortable, weather-appropriate layers and bringing a light jacket or wrap just in case. We’re going for a casual garden-fairy vibe — think whimsical, relaxed, and nature-inspired. Sundresses, flowy fabrics, floral prints, and earthy tones are all welcome. Comfortable shoes are encouraged, especially if you’ll be walking on grass or uneven paths. Don’t stress about being too formal — we want you to feel at ease and enjoy the magic of the evening with us.

Portland International Airport

If you're flying into Portland International Airport (PDX), you're about an hour and 15 minutes away from the Columbia Gorge Hotel in Hood River, Oregon — a scenic drive along the Columbia River Gorge. 🚗 Driving Directions The easiest way to get there is by renting a car or using a rideshare service. From PDX, take I-84 East toward Hood River. Take Exit 62 toward W.cliff Drive, and follow signs to the Columbia Gorge Hotel. Approximate drive time: 1 hour 15 minutes depending on traffic. 🚘 Car Rentals & Rideshare Car rentals are available at PDX from most major providers. Uber/Lyft are available at the airport, but availability in Hood River may be limited for return trips, so plan ahead.

Please arrive at the venue by 4:00 PM so everyone is comfortably seated before the ceremony begins at 4:30 PM. There is ample parking available on-site, so you won’t need to worry about finding a spot!
