The Newt is a working estate in Somerset that has a hotel as well as acres of beautiful gardens, woodland, farmland and cyder orchards to explore. For those taking the train down from London, the Newt is a 5 minute drive from the Castle Cary train station and about 20 minutes from Holly Tree Farm.
Glastonbury Tor is a tower-topped hill linked to Arthurian legend, overlooking the marshy Somerset Levels. It’s a relatively short hike, perfect for a morning activity before the Wedding.
If you are driving from London down to the Wedding, Stonehenge is on the way and makes for an easy pit stop.
Glastonbury high street is full of some interesting characters. We recommend stopping by the Hundred Monkeys for some coffee and then wander down through the shops.
Once said to be King Arthur’s burial place, Glastonbury Abbey is a ruined monastery dating to the 7th century.

The Championships 2024 will take place from 1 July 2024 to 14 July 2024
On-day sales will once again be available via The Queue, including up to 500 premium seats on each show court.

- Alternative ticket options include purchasing Debentures tickets via secondary market resellers.
- The sale of returned ballot tickets will be restricted only to those unsuccessful in the ballot, due to limited availability this year. Those eligible will receive an email detailing how to access the resale.
- Ticket integrity will continue to be of the utmost importance, with strictly one pair of tickets available per household.
