Q + A

When does the wedding start?

The wedding ceremony is going to start at 4:30, but we would appreciate everyone arriving by no later than 15 minutes before the ceremony. Just insure we have a smooth and flawless ceremony.

What time should we arrive?

The ceremony will begin at 4:30pm but seating begins at 4pm, so we would love for you to be there by 4:15pm at the latest to find your seat. Those who are late and arrive after 4:30pm will not be allowed into the ceremony area, but will be able to stay and enjoy cocktail hour and the reception.

What Happens If We Are Late?

We understand, things happen that we can not control. But if you do happen to arrive late we kindly ask that you do not interrupt the ceremony if it is in progress. There should be workers from the White Room that can direct you to the cocktail hour area, so you can get a jump on that why we finish the ceremony! But we do suggest that leaving earlier is the best thing for everyone to guarantee you get to experience the ceremony and cocktail hour in its fullest. We suggest if you are leaving from anywhere in Jacksonville leave about an hour and a half just to guarantee there isn not any hiccups!

Where do I park?

We have rented the parking lot at The Trinity Parish that is right next to The White Room. Just follow the event signs and say you are there for the Batchelor-Garrow Wedding. But if you are someone who is super mobile, there is some parking garages a couple blocks away from The White Room. But we also do suggest if you are staying in Saint Augustine to consider Bering or walking if you can, as we don’t want anyone driving after too many drinks.

What attire should we dress for?

Semi-Formal, but honestly whatever you feel comfortable in then wear it! But we would love to see our friends and families dressed up! Though the wedding is in January, it is a Florida January so that means that the weather could be cold, or even hot that day. So for ladies I would plan on something you can add layers too. Also for ladies, Saint Augustine is one of the oldest cities in America, that means there are cobblestone streets all over so do wear heels cautiously.

Are kids invited?

We love little ones! However, unless your children are listed on your invitation, this is an adult only event. We encourage you to use this evening as a date night!

What will the weather be?

It's a winter wedding, but a Florida winter wedding. So that means we have no idea what the weather will be, it could hopefully be cold, but also it could be sunny and 75.

Where exactly is the Ceremony at The White Room?

The Ceremony will be in the Villa Blanca upstairs at the venue, which can be accessed from its own entrance on the street, or you can enter through the main White Room entrance next to A1A Ale Works. There are stairs and elevators available.

Where exactly is the Reception at the White Room?

The reception is in The Grand Ballroom at the White Room, which you will be directed to after the ceremony ends for a cocktail hour.

Will there be dinner provided?

Of course! Our reception will have dinner, drinks and dessert!
