Even as full-grown adults, they still steal each other’s clothes—only now, living four hours apart, it’s a little harder to prove. Audrey and Olivia share a love of true crime podcasts like (Morbid and Crime Junkie). Audrey has made Olivia a Love Island fan. They love chatting about the episodes and giving their unsolicited opinions. They both LOVE long phone calls filled with laughter and sisterly gossip. She is both the calm in the storm and the one who knows when to take charge. Already married, she will be by Olivia’s side, guiding her through the day with grace, wisdom, and the unwavering love only a sister can give.

Laura and Olivia met at Just for Kix but didn't become friends until being on the middle school dance team. Dance was the thing that brought them together. From long hours at practice to unforgettable competitions, dance was just the beginning of a bond that would last a lifetime. Through every stage of life, different schools, new cities, and countless change, they have remained inseparable. No matter the distance, Laura has always been there for Olivia, a constant source of love, laughter, and unwavering support. Alyssa came into Olivia’s life by happenstance, or as they like to call it, Bucky Skiple. From the start, they became the best of friends. She is supportive, loving, compassionate, and never fails to bring laughter into every moment. She is the most understanding and supportive person Olivia has ever met. Her infectious laugh and positive outlook on life will bring a smile to anyone she meets. Since 2020, Alyssa has been a shining light in Olivia’s life. They bonded over music, books, and countless shared interests, forming a friendship that only continues to grow. As a 2025 bride herself, this summer will be filled with endless celebrations, laughter, and unforgettable memories together.

Sarah and Olivia met through dance, first in Just for Kix and later as Sparkettes in middle school, where their friendship truly began. Over the years, they have stood the test of time, staying close through high school, different colleges, and moves across state lines. Sarah has been a constant, always loyal and always there, no matter what. She is always up for an adventure and, living just across the river in St. Paul, they see each other more than they’d probably admit. But when a friendship is this strong, there’s no such thing as too much time together. Olivia calls Sarah "Nick, but in girl form" because of their cute dorkiness. I guess you could say she has a type.

Annika and Olivia met in 2016 during their freshman year of college, living just four doors apart and dancing together on the Bison Dance Team. Initially they both thought each other were "bitches". Turns out they were both right, and then they were best bitches. Dance may have pushed them together, but their friendship made it impossible to be anything but inseparable. Over the next four years, they became best friends and roommates, sharing everything from dance practices and competitions to college parties and late-night heart-to-hearts. They saw each other through every high and low, growing together along the way. Even their parents became best friends, proving that some bonds are just meant to be. Now, with weddings just weeks apart, they’re celebrating a summer of love side by side—just as it should be. If you want to get to know Annika a little better, any shot of tequila is your best bet.

Nick’s Best Man, Sky, has been his partner-in-crime for as long as we can remember. If there was a weekend in the past decade, chances are they were together, stirring up unforgettable stories. Sky is the definition of adventure—eccentric, spontaneous, and occasionally finding himself in a sticky situation. For those new to Sky, a few tips: avoid credit card discussions, always share your sports bets, and don’t bother offering him a coat—every day is "football weather." With Sky around, one thing is certain: the memories will last a lifetime.

Mike is the most charismatic guy you’ll ever meet—so much so that in middle school, he even charged for hugs. He and Nick were roommates for years, navigating dog parenthood together and engaging in the most ridiculous competitions. This included racing past speed trackers (Nick’s victories) to “ gym warm-ups” that turned into multi-hour basketball and pickleball matches (Mike’s domain). Beyond the competition, Mike has become Nick and Olivia’s closest and most trusted advisor. How he landed this role is a mystery, but his wisdom has guided them this far—so it’s only fitting that his words help lead them into marriage.

Logan, or Log, is the kind of friend who fiercely protects the people he loves, which meant that he has to approve of who gives Nick a hard time. As a member of the “Trifecta” with Nick and Sky, Log was the ultimate enabler, always ensuring that something fun (and probably questionable) was happening. Whether it is an ordinary day or a wild adventure, if Log is involved, it is never boring. His loyalty runs deep, his energy is unmatched, and one last warning—if Nick and Log are together, please guard your phone.

Brent is the only one in the bridal party that can say he has literally fought both the bride and groom. This is not a joke. Ask them about it. He and Nick bonded in college over an excessive amount of video games, a tradition that continued through law school and beyond. Olivia probably has nightmares of Nick screaming "Brent, he's one shot." Hand up, that was always a lie. On August 8th, you will not only meet Brent, you will meet Berto. Berto, or Brent's infamous drunk alter-ego. Any warning about Berto would be insufficient, so stay on your toes.

Zeb is often said to be Nick's kindest friend. For example, Nick once pushed Zeb during a conditioning drill, caused him to have an asthma attack, and Zeb did not even get mad at him. For some reason, Zeb always stuck by Nick when he was at his worst, including being embarrassingly bad at anything requiring coordination and his videogame-induced rage. He very much has a pure heart and not an angry bone in his body. An extra special thank-you is owed to Zeb because Nick and Olivia oh-so-rudely scheduled their wedding during Zeb's nap time.

Bucky will make a friend anywhere he goes, and for good reason; he can always make you laugh. He has too many inside jokes with everyone in the wedding party to even count. His love for Odesza borders on obsession, but for good reason. Odesza's music perfectly reflects what Bucky brings to Nick and Olivia’s lives, pure, feel-good energy. He has a way of making every moment lighter, every room warmer (enough to convince Alyssa Skiple to marry him) Most important, for the love of all things good, do not say hello to him by the bar. He will not let you leave without a drink, and let's not bankrupt the newlyweds.

Lars is another member of Nick's college household. He is a man of extraordinary and unique physical talents. Here are his top two. First, he simply cannot say no to a good time. No matter how busy life gets, Lars always shows up, whether it’s for a night out, a backyard cookout, or a movie night. But just as quick as he is to celebrate, he’s even quicker to lend a hand when it matters most. Second, he is the only person that can rival (and surpass) Nick in sheer volume of food eaten in one sitting. Lars and Nick once ate just under 100 wings at Buffalo Wild Wings to the disgust of everyone there. Lars makes every moment more memorable, every challenge more manageable, and every meal an unforgettable feast.

Zach and Nick's love cannot be described as anything other than brotherly. Nick and Olivia would often wake up to Zach wanting to have a four a.m. conversation about how much he loved us. We hated being woke up in the moment, but we would not trade any of those moments for the world. Zach loves his friends with a depth few can match. He would do anything to make their lives even a little brighter, always putting others before himself; although, his love tends to be equal parts tough and chaotic. He’s also notorious for falling down stairs (sometimes on purpose). With the Van Dusen Mansion’s many staircases, reconsider walking behind him.
