Olivia and Nick met in a not so traditional way - a dating app. Nick moved to NY without knowing anyone in Syracuse so naturally he hopped on a dating app, hoping to meet someone. The two matched when Olivia noticed Nick's dog in the profile picture! The two exchanged messages back and forth and set their first date. The morning of, Olivia got a better offer to go to the beach with friends - date cancelled! Nick, being the nice guy he is, took the offer to reschedule - August 25, 2020 for dinner and drinks.

The rest was history!

While Olivia had a long list of requests for her dream proposal, Nick had one thing he wanted and that was to make sure it was a surprise!

Nick's family came to Syracuse to visit for the weekend to enjoy family time. They planned a trip to Beak & Skiff Apple Orchard. Little did Olivia know, Nick had something bigger planned up his sleeve! As they got off the wagon into the orchard, Nick told Olivia to follow him so they could pick the best apples. Of course, Olivia being the rule follower that she is, she was hesitant. Entering a row that was empty, Nick told Olivia to pick some apples.

To Olivia's surprise, when she turned back around, Nick was on one knee and popped the question!

For the first time, Olivia was speechless and instantly gave Nick a big hug. Nick always says, actions speak louder than words so he took that as a YES!

Later that evening, Nick surprised Olivia with a celebration with close friends and family lakeside for dinner, ending the night with a beautiful sunset.
