2016 - Riley and Olivia start dating during their senior year of highschool. For all who were on twitter at that time, Riley posted a "like for a DM". Olivia liked the tweet and they started texting.

They spent the summer of 2016 enjoying every minute of each other before college would put them two hours away from each other.

Riley and Olivia both came back to Ankeny each summer to spend time with each other and their families.

This included fun family trips where Riley got to help Olivia through her biggest fear, planes.

2020 came at the world fast, and though Olivia and Riley were in the same town, they did not spend a ton of time together due to COVID lockdowns.

But 2020 also was the year Riley and Olivia got their first apartment together in Coralville as they both attended graduate school. They rescued a cat, which Riley named Maya.

Hallie was rescued about 7 months later!

Despite both Riley and Olivia being insanely competitive, they both have made time to cheer for one another's favorite teams.

Olivia graduated from Iowa with her MPH and immediately started classes in Applied Behavior Analysis to continue working at ChildServe as a Behavior Analyst. Riley also continued studying for his Doctorate in Physical Therapy at St. Ambrose. They both spent a lot of time studying quietly together, with animals providing ample distractions.

Riley proposed to Olivia in April of 2023. He proposed at the Iowa River Landing in Coralville. This was close to their first apartment together and somewhere where they frequently walked Hallie while they lived there.

After battling the wind, Riley was able to set up a successful proposal and celebrations with their closest family and friends. Several pictures of the two may still be in the Iowa River.

Summers continued to provide opportunities to celebrate the weddings of close family and friends, as well as travel.

Riley finished his DPT coursework. He was able to get his clinicals in the Iowa City/Cedar Rapids area and moved back in with Olivia and the animals in North Liberty.

Riley accepted a job at Ability Physical Therapy in Marion. They plan to stay in North Liberty and save for a house!
