For those of you who haven't heard the story - David & I met at the beginning of Covid, April 2020. David was finishing up a semester at Calvin when things shut down and I had just been laid off from my job. We both turned to the same dating app - Bumble & thankfully found each other. We matched April 26th and immediately hit it off. With it being covid, we couldn't meet in person even if we wanted to. So we talked on the phone, texted & ate dinner together over zoom
(ask David about the rack of lamb).
This went on for about a month & a half - just talking and waiting for restrictions to lift enough for us to meet in person. We finally met in person for our first date in June. David was so tall that it was easy to spot him in the parking lot. Thankfully the same chemistry we had built while apart was there when we smiled at each other for the first time.
And the rest is history!
