Nashville is full of things to do! Many people travel here every year to party on Broadway, which is Honky Tonk central. Featuring different live bands on each floor of the bars, it's easy to find an act to enjoy (the people watching is also great). Disclaimer: there is not a lot of food downtown. If you're looking for food and shopping check out Fifth + Broadway. There is a large foodhall with any type of food you could think of. Fifth + Broadway sits across the street from Bridgestone Arena and the main row of Honky Tonks.

If Broadway is not your vibe and you're looking for unique, hip bar experiences, check out East Nashville. East Nashville is only a couple miles drive from downtown and is full of eclectic restaurants and bars. For a more casual, fun time Up-Down is a bar arcade with a great rooftop. Another great rooftop bar in the area is Tall Tales Rooftop at Waymore's Hotel. For a more boutique bar, try speakeasy: Attaboy. Attaboy doesn't have a set menu, but the bartender will come to you and ask what flavors and spirits you enjoy and will make a custom cocktail! Beware: vodka is not served and you must be in a group of no more than 6. For a fun tiki bar, check out Chopper. They have a large menu of drinks all served in different tiki glasses! There is also a taco truck parked outside that serves really great food. Another one of our favorite spots is Joyland if you're looking for a good burger.

The Gulch is a cute area that's a mile or two from Broadway. Check out Pins Mechanical for duck pin bowling, pinball, and a fun cocktail menu. There are plenty of places to eat including ML Rose for burgers, Biscuit Love for brunch (expect a line), or more casual spots to Taziki's or McDougal's. LA Jackson is a popular spot for cocktails as well.

Germantown is about a 5 minute drive from downtown and is full of great food. If you want a good burger Jack Brown's is one of our favorites. Try Emmy Squared for really good pizza and wine (they have a really good gluten free pizza). If you're looking for Mexican food, Taco Mamacita has a cute atmosphere. If you want Italian, try Pelato. They serve Italian "tapas", and their vodka pasta is SO good. If you're looking for a nice walk Bicentennial Park is nice this time of year.

12 South is a cute area to walk around if you're looking for some shopping and cute restaurants. It's in the middle of a charming, older neighborhood and also has a beautiful park at the end of the main drag. Edley's BBQ is a popular choice and for good reason! Other food includes: Buttermilk Ranch (brunch), Frothy Monkey (food and coffee), Jenni's ice cream for a treat, or new spot The Henry.

Centennial Park is a lovely, relaxing area that has a full scale replica of the Parthenon! Enjoy the crisp autumn air and the changing leaves of the trees while you take a walk.

Nashville also has some really great museums! Frist Art Museum is located in downtown and is always featuring new exhibits. The Country Music Hall of Fame is a couple blocks off Broadway and displays a wide array of music history. Hatch Show Print is a legendary letterpress print shop that is housed in same building as the Country Music Hall of Fame. You'll find unique gifts, prints, and posters there.

If you'd like to take a little day trip, check out Franklin. Franklin is about a 30 minute drive from Nashville and has a more small-town vibe. Hank's Coffee Station is a unique spot that used to be a gas station! Dustin and I enjoy their sourdough toast with whipped ricotta.

Other fun things to do include: Top Golf, Cheekwood Botanical Gardens (20 minutes from downtown),

Good coffee shops: Neighborlily (Germantown), Barista Parlor (Germantown, East Nashville, Flora & Fauna (East Nashville), Frothy Monkey (12 South, The Nations, more locations), Dose (West End, East Nashville).

Brunch: Buttermilk Ranch (12 South), Biscuit Love (The Gulch), Snooze (East Nashville, Downtown), Liberty Commons (Downtown)

Food: Hawkers (East Nashville), Sixty Vines (Fifth + Broadway Downtown), The Henry (12 South), Proper Bagel (near Belmont), Pancake Pantry (Hillsboro Village), Noko (East Nashville, call ahead or check the patio, this is hands down our favorite restaurant in town),

Bars: White Limousine (Midtown), LA Jackson (Gulch), Chopper (East), Sonny's (Germantown), Tall Tales Rooftop (East), Proof (Gulch), Harriet's Rooftop (19th floor of 1 Hotel), Rooftop at Bobby Hotel
