Our first date was at Fat Salmon! It became clear that we were two foodies and we bonded instantly over our love of great food! Joe had to ask her to go to dessert!

So we added the sweet note by visiting A La Mousse! The conversation while walking to the dessert location was how Joe locked in a second date 😉 Thank goodness Joe asked to go for dessert!

This is actually our first picture together! It took us to our third date to remember to capture ourselves together! Joe snapped the picture as he was making me laugh! We keep each other laughing throughout our relationship!

Olivia has been my rock and motivation for getting better at climbing! Couples who climb together, stay together! Climbing has been a significant part of our relationship - it turned our weekly dates into seeing each other multiple times a week! It gave us time to support each other and we have both grown, especially from the bonding during the times between the climbs.

Casson's neck has always been an important place to Joe. Olivia's adventurous soul won her major points with Joe's family! Also anyone who can pick a crab as well as her is welcome to Casson's Neck! She also caught her first fish here and tried water tubing!

We push each other to try new things and to keep expanding ourselves. Olivia is a snowboarding newbie but she hits the slopes and has fun despite coming off the mountain super sore!

The above and more leads us to our trip to Hawaii! Olivia and I had already discussed getting engaged but I still wanted to surprise her, so I tricked her by claiming there was a delay in the ring due to Covid! She was not expecting anything to happen in Hawaii...

But Joe was ready! When he parked the car at Lanikai beach he saw the spot it was meant to happen. The proposal surprised Olivia on a cliff overlooking Lanikai Beach!

Joe had enlisted Olivia's now bridesmaid, Lindsay, to help with the engagement! Luckily she and her husband Nick were in Hawaii at the same time! They allowed our moment to be captured and recorded and then we were surprised with a super fun photo shoot to celebrate!

We have been celebrating constantly since our engagement, like our trip to Portland, Maine. These moments leading up to the wedding are such a treat! Planning with Olivia just supports how good of a partner we are to each other!
