We would recommend flying into Milan (Malpensa), as this is the closest major international airport to Almenno San Salvatore. If there are flights that go to Milan Airport - Bergamo, even better, as this is closer!

For those renting a car, it is a 50-minute drive. For those wanting to utilise public transport, you can catch a train to Bergamo, and then a Bus to Almenno San Salvatore. The train from Milan to Bergamo is approximately $18 (AUD) and takes 1 hour.

There are a few options depending on what you would like to do. You can stay in Milan and make your way on the day (a 50-minute drive). You could stay in Bergamo (a 15 minute drive or 25 minute bus). You can also stay in Almenno San Salvatore. We will have a few options for where to stay in Almenno San Salvatore closer to the date on the 'Where to Stay' tab. / Ci sono varie opzioni.
