Our Wedding

The summer of 2017 Clayton ended his courageous career in the United State Marine Corp and traveled back to Barre, Massachusetts to be with family and continue his education. Though Clay was strictly trying to focus on himself and even stated I am not looking for a relationship, his plan went out the door when he showed up for the weekly pick-up soccer league in Hubbardston, Ma. Olivia had been playing in this pick-up soccer league for a couple summers now where she could meet up with old teammates after being away at college. Clayton began to ask friends about Olivia meanwhile, Olivia was doing the same thing across the field. As Olivia and Clayton began to gain more interest in each other Clayton built up the courage and asked Olivia out on their very first date. Obviously the first thing Olivia did was call her sister Rebecca and ask what she thought of Clayton since they did go to high school together. Rebecca responded with “Oh my god, I love Clay Degnan”. So, with the sister approval she joined Clayton on their first date at Wachusett Mountain where they hiked up to the summit. And now here they are, saying I do next to the mountain where they shared their first date 5 years later.
