In the midst of a global pandemic, when the world seemed to have slowed down, fate brought us together in the most unexpected place—Key West. Both of our families had decided to escape the monotony of quarantine life and enjoy some sunshine, and as luck would have it, our paths crossed on that trip. Even though we had known each other's parents for 10 years prior, we had never met. Over the next few months, Chris kept finding ways to stay in touch—texts, instagram messages. It wasn’t until four months later that it finally clicked: he wasn’t just being friendly; he was trying to ask me out. Eventually, we became inseparable and took a leap of faith, moving across the country together to New York City—despite my well-known hatred of the cold.

Now, we’re back living in Tampa and so excited to start this next chapter as husband and wife, surrounded by the people we love most!
