Veljko and Olivia met in the summer of 2020 in Nashville, where they both live. Veljko heard about Olivia through their mutual friend Ansley and had been asking her to set them up. In true Nashville fashion, they eventually met for the first time on Broadway and spent the whole night talking. They were inseparable ever since.

After they began dating, the couple decided to go on a cross-country road trip over a year with their dog, Archie. They spent time in Texas, California, Wyoming, and Montana and fell in love with each place. Once they returned to Nashville, Veljko knew that Olivia was the person he wanted to spend the rest of his life adventuring with.

Finally in November 2023, Veljko decided to ask Olivia to marry him. He surprised her with a birthday trip to Chicago which is one of their favorite cities. Olivia was a little suspicious that Veljko might be planning something, but when she tried to pry some details out of him he played it so cool that she was convinced no proposal was happening. One day, Veljko mysteriously left the room to 'grab some water'. A few moments later, there was a knock on the door, and Olivia opened it to see her best friend, Caroline, standing there with a photographer and a pile of dresses. She told Olivia they had something special to get ready for, and at that point, Olivia started connecting the dots. It was such a special moment to have one of her closest friends be there with her and help her get ready for such a milestone moment in her life.

Veljko arranged for a driver to bring Olivia to a beautiful park with the Chicago skyline behind them where he got on one knee and asked her to spend the rest of his life with him.

Olivia and Veljko are so excited for this next chapter in their lives.
