The entire venue is outdoors to appreciate the beauty of the Guadalupe River.
What is the weather like in the area?
The average high in April is in the upper 70s/ lower 80s during the day. Nightly temperatures can fall to the low 50s.
Is the venue wheelchair accessible?
Yes- there are ramps located throughout the venue. We will have access to a golf cart to ensure the venue is accessible for everyone! Please note: The wedding ceremony will take place on the river which has an uneven limestone ground.
If I need groceries, where should I go?
The only place you should ever go get groceries in Texas is HEB. This is very Texan of us to say, but it is the best grocery store in the world.
What can we expect for the weekend?
Please enjoy the Texas Hill Country whichever way you like however, we would love to spend time with our loved ones throughout the whole weekend. The family of the bride and groom, as well as the wedding party, will be staying on site. The cabins at the venue have large back porches where we will be hanging out throughout the weekend. Even if you are not staying at the venue, you are welcome to join us at any time on the back porch, banks of the river, or on the river itself!
If the weather cooperates, we are planning on floating the river on Friday morning.
Joe is excited to fish at some point throughout the weekend and I am sure he would love some company!
Please let us know if you have any other questions!
