Unknown to either one of us, our paths always overlapped as we spent time at Watermark Community Church in Dallas and surrounding cities. We shook hands for the first time in April of 2022 during the meet-and-greet portion of the young adult's ministry called "The Porch." That October, our mutual friend Jack Boyer provided an opportunity for us to reconnect. Two weeks later Thompson mustered up the courage to ask Olivia on a date, and the rest is history!
