We met in June 2021 after both moving to Austin! Codey made the long haul down from Portland, OR and Olivia from Chicago, IL.

After matching on Bumble and exchanging many text messages (and many cancelled plans) we finally decided to meet up for a few drinks at The Austin Beer Garden Brewing Co. Ollie decided to third wheel and chaperone to ensure Codey was a good guy ;-)

We spent summer of 2021 getting to know each other, exploring Austin and traveling. We took our first trip together July 2021 to New Orleans! We "officially" started dating in March of 2022.

Over the years we've traveled to many different places including, New Orleans, Hawaii, Florida & most recently Lisbon & Barcelona (just to name a few!) During our cross country road trip in September 2022 Codey got to fulfil his life long dream of visiting Lambeau Field for the Packers home open against the Bears. Which he has proclaimed as one of the happiest days of his life, second to proposing of course.

On our trip to Italy in November 2023 Codey proposed in Florence in a vintage photobooth on our way to dinner at Il Latini. He couldn't of done it without the help of my Sister, Elizabeth, who kept the ring safe until my Mom, Diane, could deliver it safely to Austin. Diane flew to Austin, delivered the ring to Codey at the airport and hopped back on the plane to Chicago! Perks of working for the airlines!
