There are two locations where you can catch a ferry to Block Island. Point Judith, Rhode Island and New London, Connecticut. Both locations have the options for a slow ferry (a 1 hour ride) and a high speed ferry (a 30 minute ride). If you intend on bringing your car to the island you will have to take the slow ferry and be sure to make a reservation for your vehicle WELL in advance!
