Chandler and I met at a party when I was 17 and he was 20. I did not want to go to this party at all, it was a week night, I was tired, ready to be in the bed. But, my friends begged me and begged me so I went and I said fine, were leaving at 11! Well we got there and I was ready to leave but then the door opens and I see this guy walk in wearing a green shirt and I said to my friends “we can stay as long as y’all want!” Chandler walked in and I was doing everything I could to get his attention. I was dancing, laughing loud, making eyes at him, you know, all those things. Chandler kept looking at me too and finally asked me to come talk to him. So we talked, he never asked me for my number but later I followed him on Instagram. He then immediately messaged me and said “I don’t know why I didn’t ask this when we were talking but what’s your number?” I was kinda mad he didn’t ask me for my number in person so I gave it to him but wasn’t quick to text him or call him back. He was consistent though and I liked he would rather talk on the phone and see me in person more than text. This day in age, that’s hard to find. So we start dating and get serious for about a year and a half and then we realized we both had some growing up to do, and couldn’t do it while we were in a relationship. So we decided to end things, I moved away to a town 4 hours away and he stayed up in Canton. After a year of growing up, we still thought of each other and longed to be together, so I reached out to him and the rest is history and now we are ready to get married and spend forever together!
