James and I first met in middle school but truly became friends at car riders in 10th grade when he would steal my lunch I didn’t eat. I had the biggest crush on him but he had a girlfriend at the time. Once 11th grade came I would leave school earlier so we never saw each other after that. About a month after graduation he added me on snap chat, for a week straight we talked on the phone and texted non stop just making up for lost time. We talked about our relationship status and talked back to 10th grade when he had a girlfriend and how I used to like him. One night we were on the phone and I was headed home from work, he had asked me how I would feel if I was to become his girlfriend. At 12am on June 29th, 2024 I was officially my 10th grade crush’s girlfriend. Throughout the past year we have faced a lot, one huge challenge happened within only a month into our relationship. We leaned onto each other and worked our way through it. We have created so many memories, we had so many firsts, such as my first time hunting, our first holidays etc. This past year has been a roller coaster of emotions but we couldn’t have done it without each other!
