Right beyond the Sample Gates is Kirkwood Ave with so many great restaurants and bars to try all within walking distance of the Indiana Memorial Union.

Griffy Lake is around a 10 minute drive from campus. Visitors are able to rent canoes/kayaks and can also hike out to the dam. Be sure to make kayak rentals in advance!

Brown County State Park has a ton of fun activities like hiking, climbing the firetower, horseback riding, and the nature center. It is located near Nashville, Indiana which has lots of shopping and restaurants.

Oliver Winery is a 15 minute drive from campus. You can participate in wine tastings, tours, or just explore the grounds. Be sure to book a reservation in advance!
