The first time I saw him, we were meeting for our first date from Tinder. I remember glancing over at him and thinking, Oh, wow, he’s cute. We started talking about ourselves and ordering our food. His family dynamics were similar to mine which made me feel close already. Our conversation was going so well that I forgot to let all my friends know that I was ok and my phone was full of messages asking if I was alive and okay. We kept texting and going on dates through the pandemic and grew closer than ever.

Jacob is super passionate about his friends and sports. I’m thankful that I have been able meet them and learn about them as we moved along in our relationship. They’ve taken me in and seem to accept me in the group. I felt that it was important to be accepted in his group because of how close he holds the friendships that he makes.

Jacob told me from the beginning that he liked to go on adventures and wanted to take me on those adventures. He likes to host others, cook, and throw parties. We have been to the Teton Mountains, Yellow Stone, Hawaii, Seville in Florida, and look forward to many more adventures together.

We are excited to have our family and friends join us in the ceremony connecting the two of us.
