Liv and Diego met in college in 2018. As Liv was about to rush out of the cafeteria for a class, a mutual friend walked in with Diego and introduced them. For weeks they would look forward to breaks in between classes to go back to the cafeteria, share Diego's food, play an endless amount of card games and continue to get to know each other. It wasn't until a spring break trip in 2019 to an indoor water park that Diego and Liv realized just how much they liked each other, while locked in the chambers of a terrifying water slide (you know the kind where the platform drops from beneath you and plummets you to the ground below). The day after the trip, Diego asked Liv to go on a date with him to one of his family's favorite restaurants. They later became a couple on St. Patrick's Day, which Diego attributes to his luck from being a small part Irish. Ever since those early days, they have been attached at the hip and have loved getting to know each other's family and friends.
When it was nearing time to propose, Diego wanted to make it even more special. He enlisted the help of a jeweler that used to work under her great grandfather. It was also the same place her parents got their engagement ring many years ago. On the day he chose to propose, Diego drove Liv to the beach where he booked a tiki river cruise to throw Liv off the scent with an afternoon on the water with margaritas. Afterwards he suggested a walk on the beach, during which he set up a picnic and asked Liv to marry him. To seal the deal, since then Liv and Diego have adopted their first fur baby, Oren. As a new family of three they love going on all kinds of adventures together.
Now, seven years later they are so excited to celebrate their wedding with you all.
