Kennedy and Olivia met January of 2022 while performing in the esteemed (not really) production of The Lightning Thief the Percy Jackson Musical. Olivia had missed the first few weeks of rehearsals while she was wrapping up another show. On her first day Olivia joined the cast, she introduced herself to Kennedy, and let them know she would be playing Annabeth (their love interest), and Kennedy responded with a not-so-cool “cool!!”. Kennedy then proceeded to avoid eye-contact with Olivia the rest of the night, but managed to work up the courage to ask if she wanted to join them and some other friends for ice cream. At ice cream they ended up ordering the same thing—raspberry lemonade sorbet—and talked the rest of the night. From that night they became fast friends, seeing each other often at rehearsals, hanging out afterwards, and texting in-between. It didn’t take long until they both were actively admitting to their friends and cast-mates that they liked each other. A few short weeks later they finally decided to do something about it, and went on their first date February 1st, 2022. It didn’t take long until they both realized they had found their person, and it’s just been a matter of time getting to this day!! This past August, while in Scotland on the trip of their lives, Kennedy proposed to Olivia in the John Lavery impressionist art exhibit—truly perfect if you know Olivia well. And that brings us all to today. If you made it through, thanks for taking the time to learn a little bit more about us, and we are so thankful to have you with us on our most special day!!
