It all began in Houston, with two ambitious pharmacists navigating the challenges of a residency program. Olivia, a proud Texan, and Corey, a Massachusetts native, had come from different corners of the country, but fate (and a rigorous residency program) brought them together. Between long rotation days and late-night residency projects, they found solace in the simplest of joys—happy hour margaritas and endless baskets of chips and queso. What started as a way to unwind quickly became something more. Somewhere between discussing unnecessary vancomycin orders and debating queso-to-chip ratios, Olivia managed to get Corey hooked—not just on Tex-Mex but on her. Their connection deepened, but the road wasn’t always easy. When Olivia moved to South Carolina for her second year of residency, the distance tested them. Yet, with every late-night call, Corey realized something important—distance truly does make the heart grow fonder. When Olivia moved back to Houston for work, there was no looking back. Their time apart had only solidified what they already felt: they were meant to be. And now, after years of love, learning, and a whole lot of salsa, they can’t wait to spend forever together.
