Our Wedding

Olivia was born in 1991 in Suwon, Korea, and made the big move to the U.S. in 2021 to chase her dreams. Anthony was born in 1989 in Pittsburgh, PA, doing life his own way until a dating app called Hinge decided they should meet. One swipe later, a new story began.

Who we are & How we met?

Over sushi (one of our favorite foods), the conversation flowed and the awkwardness never showed up. We lost track of time and still remember exactly where we sat—like the universe pressed "record" on something special.

First date

From solving puzzles to bingeing cooking shows and getting competitive with sports, we’re always up for some fun. We love long walks, hiking new trails, exploring museums, and hunting down the best cocktails and bites in town. Basically—partners in crime for all things curious and delicious.

What we love...

From the very beginning, Anthony's big, warm-hearted family welcomed Olivia with open arms (and lots of food!). She's endlessly grateful to have found not just love, but a second family here in the U.S.

Language barrier? No problem. Anthony found his own way to bond with Olivia’s family—no translation needed! Even Danji, the family dog and toughest critic of all, gave his approval with a tail wag and a cuddle.

My best friend, my other half

Living together means sharing playlists, snacks, and all the not-so-cute stuff too. We've built little routines, made new hobbies, and discovered that loving each other more sometimes comes from the messiest, most real moments.

Best roommate ever

Merging two cultures isn’t always picture-perfect—but every day, we’ve learned to appreciate, laugh through, and grow from our differences. (And yes, we once argued over a rice cooker... true love, right?)

Love in Translation

On June 29th, 2024, Anthony took Olivia on a journey through time—visiting all the special places that shaped our 2.5-year love story. With each stop came a poem and a clue to the next. And at the final spot, overlooking the city where we built our life together… he asked, and she said yes.

She said YES!

Now it’s our turn to say “I do” and promise a lifetime of love, laughter, and maybe a few more rice cooker debates. We can’t wait to celebrate this next chapter with all the people who mean the world to us!

Our Story

Olivia met Chelsea in 2021 at Pitt grad school orientation, and within days Chels saved Olivia from getting scammed out of $1,000—so yes, she quite literally paid for her spot in Olivia's heart. Since then, she’s been Olivia's ride-or-die, an emergency contact (emotionally and literally), and her biggest cheerleader. Olivia is endlessly grateful for her friendship—and feels so lucky to have her by her side on this day and every day.

Chelsea Dickson

Olivia met Lysia in Pitt grad school in 2021, and they became roommates soon after—but to Olivia, she felt more like family. Being far from home was never easy, but Lysia made sure Olivia never felt alone in the U.S. Through late-night chats, spontaneous food runs, and quiet moments after long days, she brought comfort, warmth, and laughter into Olivia’s everyday life. Lysia remains one of the most amazing people Olivia has ever met.

Lysia Gehris

Olivia used to beg her parents for a younger sister until she was 14—and it turns out, the universe was just waiting to deliver her at the perfect time. Victoria isn’t just Anthony’s sister; she’s the sister she got to choose. From their deep talks to going absolutely feral together after a drink (or two), she’s been Olivia’s partner-in-crime and now her real family. She truly can’t imagine life without her, and feels beyond lucky to call her a sister forever.

Victoria Tierno

Deanna is Olivia’s niece-in-law and the unofficial matchmaker of this love story—she was rooting for Olivia and Anthony to get married long before the couple even talked about it themselves! Wise beyond her years and full of love, she holds a special place in Olivia’s heart. Olivia feels incredibly lucky to become her aunt—someone she hopes Deanna can always count on when she needs to talk, especially about the things that are just a little too hard to share with parents.

Deanna Tierno

Alex has been Anthony’s best friend since what feels like forever. They grew up together in the same hometown, with families who know each other inside and out. Their bond only grew stronger through college, where they were not only classmates but also roommates. Alex knows just about everything there is to know about Anthony—and probably holds a few secrets that will not be revealed in the best man speech (hopefully). He’s more than a best friend; he’s family, and there’s no one Anthony would trust more to stand by his side.

Freddy is Anthony’s older brother and lifelong role model. Even though they live miles apart, their bond is as close as ever—they talk on the phone weekly, often for over an hour (and yes, sometimes even longer than Anthony talks to Olivia). Their relationship is built on trust, laughter, and a deep sense of brotherly loyalty. They’ve always been each other’s sounding board, and Anthony is proud to have Freddy standing beside him on such an important day.

Freddy Siciliano

Dominic is Anthony’s younger brother and his lifelong companion—and occasional rival. Growing up, they were always side by side, whether playing on the same team or facing off in a fierce backyard competition. These days, their rivalry continues on the golf course, where things still get just a little competitive. Despite the teasing and scorekeeping, there’s nothing but deep respect and love between them. They’re each other’s one and only brother, and Anthony wouldn’t want to celebrate this day without him.
