Alex and Liv met in August of 2012 on a driving hour while both learning how to drive to get their license. Liv had to observe Alex driving, and of course he drove on the wrong side of the road! What a great first impression.

Even though he was a bad driver at first, that didn't scare Olivia away. Once school started back up they were in the same psychology class and started talking. They started dating a few months later in March of 2013.

Liv and Alex continued to date through college (long distance!) as Alex went to school in Rochester, NY and Liv went to school in Framingham, MA. After college Liv moved to Orlando for a year to do an internship. While Alex was still in college, he moved to the Fort Lauderdale area for 8 months to do an internship for school. They were able to see each other all the time while both living in Florida.

After Alex graduated from RIT in 2019, they moved in together in Boston. They have been happily living there ever since!

On August 1, 2021, Liv and Alex took a trip to Newport, Rhode Island. On their first night there, Liv and Alex got a nice meal at Gurney's. Liv got a lobster stuffed with mac and cheese and was so full afterwards! She wanted to go back up to the hotel room before exploring the rest of Goat Island. Alex kept rushing her and they finally went to explore the island.

They started walking to a grassy area, and there was a beautiful picnic set up with a view of the ocean and the Newport Bridge. Alex brought Liv over to the picnic and got down on one knee and popped the question. Of course she said YES!

Now it's time for forever!
