It all started in 2021 at Earth Treks, when Connor had shown up for a regular rock climbing session with his friend, Josh. Meanwhile, Olivia arrived with two of her best friends—Josh’s brother and cousin. As fate (and a mutual friend) would have it, they were reintroduced and quickly paired off to belay one another. There’s something about holding someone’s life in your hands that either makes things really awkward or really honest. For Connor and Olivia, it was the latter. The weekly climbing sessions became something they both looked forward to—not just for the challenge, but for each other. It wasn’t long before they found excuses to extend the nights. “We should all grab dinner after this,” one of them would say. Or, “Anyone down for a movie?” But somehow, even in a group, Connor and Olivia always ended up next to each other, still laughing, still finding new reasons to stay just a little longer. As weeks turned into months, the climbing sessions turned into dates—some intentional, some disguised as “just hanging out.” Somewhere between buffalo wings and bouldering, Connor and Olivia realized this was something real. Their bond grew stronger, rooted in laughter, trust, and a shared sense of adventure. They supported each other through challenges, on and off the wall, and before long, they were inseparable. Eventually, Connor decided it was time to make the biggest climb of all. On a trip to Ocean City—one of their favorite getaways—he popped the question. As the sun set over the bay in the background, he walked Olivia around the docks and asked her to marry him. She said yes, and the next chapter of their adventure began.
