Q + A

If you have any other questions not listed on this tab, feel free to reach out to the bride or groom!

When is the RSVP Deadline?

We kindly ask that you RSVP by March 30th, 2025 to allow us ample time to coordinate guest attendance with our vendors!

Can I bring a guest?

If your guest name is listed on your invite or you have a plus one option listed when you RSVP, then yes! Otherwise, we would love to keep the wedding as intimate as possible with close friends and family.

Can I bring children?

As we finalize our guest list, we have decided to have young adults and adults only at our wedding. We hope you can understand that we would like to create a sophisticated and intimate atmosphere for all of our guests. We realize that this may impact your plans, and we want to make sure you have plenty of time to arrange for childcare. We hope that you will still be able to join us for this special day, and we look forward to celebrating with you. Thank you for understanding, and please let us know if you have any questions or concerns.

Is there a dress code?

Our wedding will be a garden party style cocktail event, and we kindly request that our guests dress accordingly. We want everyone to feel comfortable and look their best. We ask that guests refrain from wearing denim, white, or cream to the event.

What should I do if I can't make it?

You will be missed. As we prepare for the wedding, we kindly request that you let us know as soon as possible if you are unable to attend by using the RSVP section and responding that you cannot attend. We understand that unexpected events can happen, but by letting us know in advance, we can make necessary adjustments to our plans.

Can I take photos?

We are thrilled to have you join us for our wedding day and wanted to let you know about a special request we have for our ceremony. To help us keep the focus on the love and commitment we are making to each other, we kindly request that you do not use your cell phone during the ceremony. We will be sending albums out to an email list post-honeymoon with all the pictures from our special day!

Is there parking at the wedding venue?

Yes, there is a designated parking garage next to our ceremony and reception space at the corner of N Prospect Ave and E Wisconsin Ave.

Is there transportation provided?

Yes! There will be a shuttle running from the wedding block starting at 3:30pm for the ceremony. During the reception, shuttles back to the hotel will start at 9pm and end at 11:30pm.

When should we arrive at the event?

We ask that all guests arrive at least 15 minutes prior before the ceremony time but not earlier than 3:45. This ensures that all guests will have some time to mingle and get seated. This time of year is filled with people visiting downtown and the art museum, so please make note if you are driving to leave a little earlier for unexpected traffic.

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

The reception will be held indoors, while the ceremony and cocktail hour will be held outside, weather dependent. We are hopeful for beautiful weather, but please be aware that if conditions do not permit an outdoor ceremony or happy hour, we will move them indoors to ensure everyone's comfort and safety.

Will there be an open bar?

Yes! Drinks are on us, Hangovers are on you! Please drink responsibly and carpool/uber if you won’t be using our transportation provided. *Please bring a valid ID*

Where can I find a gift registry?

First, we wanted to let you know that you presence is the only gift we truly need. We have chosen not to have a large traditional registry for our wedding since we have been homeowners since January of 2024. So, we have opted to offer a few honeymoon funds listed on the registry page! This registry page will become available as soon as we send out formal invitations.
