Can I bring my kids to the wedding?
No. While we love your little ones (seriously we do!!!) we want YOU to celebrate the night with us! Please leave your kids at home (except the ones in the wedding party) so that we can have a great time together!
WILL THERE BE TRANSPORTATION PROVIDED FROM THE CHURCH TO PIER 81?
There will not be transportation from the church to pier 81. Between the ceremony and reception, the bridal party will be taking photographs. We recommend getting to pier 81 one of three ways:
1) Take the Long Island Railroad from the Forest Hills Station (5 minute walk from the church) to Penn Station (one stop). From there you can take a nice walk (24 minutes) or hop in an Uber or yellow taxi for a quick ride to pier 81 (9 minutes).
2) Take an uber/yellow taxi directly from the church (33 min drive).
3) Finally, if you are feeling brave, jump on the subway from 71st ave ;)
What is the name of the boat we are having the reception on?
The boat's name is the Horizon's Edge!!! When you get to pier 81 look for the BIG LOBSTER and go down the dock, you'll see the boat on the pier.
Ummm... we aren't in the wedding party, and the ceremony ends at like 3, but the boat doesn't leave until 6... what do we do?
GREAT question! We understand that there's a little bit of a gap between the ceremony and the reception. If you plan on joining us for both, we recommend stopping by The Landmark Tavern which is on 11th Avenue and West 46th Street for a couple of pre-party pints and spirits.
HOW DO WE GET TO THE AFTER PARTY?
So, Connor really wanted to make you all take a taxi there, but I insisted on you guys getting there as easy as possible. We will be providing shuttle buses to the after party from the boat!
Will there be an afterparty at the hotel?
No! We are having an afterparty at the infamous three sheets bar. Get ready to have a night to remember! :D
