All you need to know

Where is the wedding located?

The ceremony, cocktail hour and reception will all take place at Windows on the River in Cleveland, OH.

Will the wedding be inside or out?

The ceremony will take place inside the City View Room. We will enjoy cocktail hour outside, if weather permits, then return to the City View Room for the Reception. (Ladies feel free to wear whatever shoes you are comfortable in, you won't be walking on any grass)

What is the dress code?

The dress code is Black Tie Optional attire. Ladies, floor length or midi formal dresses, and men formal suits (does NOT have to be a black tux).


*Note* Wedding party is wearing champagne floor length dresses and black tux's.

When should I arrive at the venue?

The ceremony will begin promptly at 5:00pm. We ask that you arrive by 4:45pm to get comfortable in your seat.

Have you blocked out rooms at selected hotels?

Yes, we have blocked out rooms at the Cleveland Marriott Downtown at Key Tower and Aloft Cleveland Downtown. Go to our travel page to book.

Will transportation be provided?

There will only be transportation provided to the wedding party and immediate family. There are plenty of Uber and Lyft options if you need transportation to and from your hotels. Your safety is important to us, please communicate if you need a ride.

Is there a fee for parking at the venue?

Yes, however, you will receive a QR code at the wedding that will waive your parking fee. On your way in, please let the attendant know you are there for the Nicholas / Mateer Wedding.

Can I bring my children to the wedding?

We unfortunately do not have the space to accommodate for your children if they are not listed under your RSVP.

Can I bring a plus one to the wedding?

Your invite will inform you if you may bring a guest. If your invite does not include a plus one, we kindly ask that you do not bring someone as we do not have the accommodations for them. Thanks for understanding!
