THE DORY STORY

We met at M&M Bike Shop in Sierra Vista, AZ in September of 2021 while I was at Fort Huachuca for Basic Officer Leadership Course (BOLC), and Nash was working before starting school at Northwest Lineman College.

Our first date was at Parker Canyon Lake, where we hiked, swam, cliff-jumped, and enjoyed popsicles—bonding over our shared love of the outdoors.

We continued dating through Nash's move to Boise, ID to start Lineman College in October of 2021, followed by my move to Clarksville, TN in December of 2021. When Nash graduated from NLC in February of 2022, he decided to follow me to the East Coast. He got hired at a line company in Northern KY, and began working 3 hours north of where I worked at Fort Campbell. We made seeing each other a priority and took turns driving back and forth nearly every weekend. We made many memories over our three years in the TN/KY area.

Nash proposed in September of 2023 at Fall Creek Falls State Park at sunset with a beautiful view of the park. We got married in a small ceremony 3 weeks later in the perfect intimate ceremony. We always planned to celebrate at a bigger ceremony that would encompass a larger portion of our friends and family, but with an impending deployment right around the corner, a small ceremony fit our needs better at the time.

We are excited to celebrate at our dream wedding in October, and hope that you'll be able to join us!
