We recommend suit attire for the morning events - the ceremony and brunch reception. For the Barn BBQ, whatever is comfortable and weather appropriate! Cowboy boots are highly encouraged :-) The March weather in Kentucky likes to keep us on our toes so we recommend checking the weather the week of the wedding to be able to dress appropriately!

The Ceremony and Reception Brunch will be indoors, and the Barn BBQ will be in an unheated barn with propane heaters.

When you RSVP on the website your party size will be confirmed along with guest names. If we've made a mistake with your party size feel free to reach out to Libby!

Children are welcome at our events. If your invitation mistakenly did not include your children, please reach out for clarification if you'd like them to attend.

Lexington has plenty of Uber/Lyft options but given the amount of driving, it would be recommended to have a car.

As we get closer to the event, we will provide you with a list of suggested activities if you'd like to explore what Lexington has to offer. Additionally, we will set up a few tours solely for our wedding guests. Updates will be posted on our website.

The Ceremony (Walnut Hill Church) is about a 16 minute drive from the Brunch Reception. The Brunch Reception (Signature Club of Lansdowne) is about a 10 minute drive from the Origin hotel (4174 Rowan) The Origin hotel is about a 15 minute drive from the Rockaway Farm (1100 Spurlock Ln).

The closest airport is Bluegrass (LEX). It is a small airport about 15 minutes from all the wedding locations and easy to navigate. The alternatives are Louisville (SDF) or Cincinnati (CVG) - these are about equidistance from Lexington and are a 1 hour 20 minute drive.

All our venues have plenty of parking available. Walnut Hill Church has a large parking lot directly outside the building. The Signature Club of Lansdowne requires valet parking so you will pull up to the front of the building and the staff will handle it from there. The Rockaway Farm for the Barn BBQ will have designated parking areas when you arrive.

The barn for the Barn BBQ will have multiple propane heaters but the barn itself is not heated so we'd recommend bringing jackets or coats to ensure you're comfortable.

Yes, we have a block of rooms reserved at the Origin hotel in Lexington, KY at 4174 Rowan. It is located in a center with a variety of stores and restaurants that are all walkable.
