Livie and Matt’s story began in 2019 when they met through mutual friends. Living nearby, they formed a close-knit group and started weekly family dinners. During these gatherings, they savored delicious homemade meals and bonded over their love for cooking, music, TV shows, outdoor adventures, travel, and so on. Over time, their friendship blossomed into something more. They cherished their dates to Federal Hill, adventures with their dog Gunner, and travels filled with activities like skiing and snowboarding in Killington, beach trips to Connecticut, and various vacations, all while creating unforgettable memories. Eventually, they realized their connection had deepened, and knew they wanted to build a life together.

As their love grew, they discovered a sweet twist—before officially meeting, their families had already crossed paths at gatherings over the years. It felt like their story was meant to be.

Their journey wasn’t without challenges. After 13 years of misdiagnoses, Livie was finally diagnosed with PAVES, a condition that put her at high risk of losing both legs. Together, they faced this challenge head-on, transforming fear into resilience. They embarked on an adventure to Costa Rica, journeying from one coast to the other before Livie underwent two major surgeries. During her recovery, Matt was her unwavering support, helping her rediscover the strength to walk, stand, drive, and live independently, bringing them even closer than before. Their love and teamwork shone through this difficult time, proving their ability to overcome anything together.

In May 2023, Livie and Matt took the next big step, buying their dream home in Franklin, MA. Together with loved ones, they poured their hearts into renovating it, creating a place to call their own.

On August 19, 2024, Matt brought Livie back to where their story began—Federal Hill. The streets were closed off, live music filled the air, and people wandered through, enjoying themselves and having a great time. After a romantic Italian dinner, Livie and Matt did what they do best, poking around the streets enjoying the vibrant environment until they reached their favorite spot in the heart of Federal Hill. With live music playing Just the Two of Us in the background, Matt got down on one knee in the middle of the street in the center of Federal Hill, and Livie said yes without hesitation. They celebrated with a toast, cherishing a magical night they would never forget.
